Hi Ludwig,
Great blog post as usual.
It is perfect.
I am facing some issue about the necessary file conversion in order to process Data in flow. In my case, the file format is a pdf.
Could you, please help me with a tips or make available the flow for downloading if possible.
Thanks.
Hi Arnaud,
If you have a pdf file then you would need to ‘convert’ it first e.g. by using OCR tools.
Can’t you get a text or CSV file from your bank?
Best regards,
Ludwig
Hi Ludwig,
Thank you very much for your quick feedback.
I could get the text file from the Bank.
I am still facing some issue about the initial file conversion step in the flow in order to process Data in flow. eg: the “html to txt” conector.
Could you please, make available the flow content?
Thanks.
I see.
Instead of using PowerAutomate, have you tried using electronic reporting?
I posted a couple of videos on that here (https://dynamicsax-fico.com//?s=bank+statement+import&search=Go) that illustrate how the ER import and processing works.
ER is in general faster if you have bank statements with a lot of lines or from different bank accounts that need to be imported into different companies.
Best regards,
Ludwig
