Hi Ludwig,
great tutorial. I have a question about the email template. How did you create one with placeholders such as in this video? what type of document do i need?
Can you please share the document?

Hello Veronika,
I created the placeholders based on what is described here: https://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/aa834374.aspx
Initially, I tested everything in an ‘old’ AX2012 version because this older version ships with a designer that allows you a quite easy design and preview of the template.
Best regards,
Ludwig

Hello Ludwig.
This kind of sollutions you explain in the blog are really helpful for us (we are implementing them in D365) but we have a gap or doubt for the invoices posted or registered with no purchase orders.
The ideal process for us should be to register one (or several) invoices and then send them through the approval workflow to be approved (and automatically posted) by the appropiate responsible. In our case, we can find many invoices from the same vendor but diferrent approver. Is it possible to guide approval workflow depending on the accounting account of the invoice? Or depending on the vendor at least? We can not find a way to set up the WF and we are not sure of which predefined workflow suits better for this case of non PO invoices approval.
Thank you so much.

Hi Fernando, you should be able to setup the workflow in a way that different approvers are selected depending on the vendor. Also an amount based condition should be possible to define. Best regards, Ludwig
