This is really helpful.
I am curious to know, can we add an electronic signature in the case of the purchase order confirmation document and then send an email to the supplier’s email address?
Very helpful Ludwig. I am attempting to utilize ER for customizing and distributing Collection Letters. Any advice on how/where to snag a sample XML or Excel for that model? Objective is to create customized collection letters for each of our lines of business so perhaps custom logos on the collection letters and such. Any advise?
Hi, There is a standard collection letter report available on LCS. I used it for a post on RPA. Probably have a look at this post as well. Best regards, Ludwig
Thanks Ludwig. Which post are you referring to? I found one referring to Fixed Assets and RPA but don’t see a post specifically referencing Collection Letters and RPA. Was able to import the CollectionLetterNoteTemplate(Excel) from LCS. Thanks, Clint
Nevermind, seems you’re referring to https://dynamicsax-fico.com/2020/02/16/finance-related-ui-flow-applications/. In reviewing this post, I’m not actually seeing where you’re leveraging the CollectionLetterNoteTemplate or ER for the purpose of creating collection letters. Seems in that post you’re using the standard collection letter note that doesn’t use ER. Is there another post where you demo using ER for collection letter notes? Thanks, Clint
Hi Clint, There is no other post that I remember by heart about the collection letter. Yet, the collection letter document is an electronic report and you can send it out by email as attachment as any other report. If you are interested in the email distribution and attachment and the Flow that I regularly use for that purpose then check the Zugferd related post where I show how this works. Hope this helps. Best regards, Ludwig
Hi Ludwig, on the page below you will find how to connect Business Documents and Organizational Email Templates. This way you’ll take care of different Languages for Subject and Body of emails. You can also use placeholders on both.
